Avid Readers Book Club vibe to NNENNA!

Throughout September 2021, Instagram was agog with posts – pictures, memes, and reels – from the elegant women who make up the membership of Avid Readers Book Club, based in Port Harcourt Nigeria.

I kid you not, the cause of this excitement and buzz was none other than our title, NNENNA by Chinenye Janet Eze.

The book, which is told in form of a podcast follows the life of a young girl who grows up needing love until she falls in love with Tobenna, a Christian brother, who she met at fellowship. She soon discovers that love was never as far as she thought.

The videos, reels, and other creative posts and memes from the Avid Readers Book Club affirm our stance that “NNENNA” is a must-read.  

Since its release in December 2020, the book has received positive reviews from notable literary organisations who are full of praises for the book. Among such reviewers are Adiva Book Club – run by a veteran Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus – and Bookville World Port Harcourt.
