Purple Shelves Literary Services Acquires Ndidi Chiazor-Enenmor’s See Morocco See Spain

Purple Shelves Literary Services is delighted to announce the acquisition of publishing rights for Ndidi Chiazor-Enenmor’s latest novel, See Morocco See Spain. This enthralling narrative cements Ndidi Chiazor-Enenmor’s place as one of Nigeria’s most compelling literary voices. It masterfully explores themes of hope, resilience, and the heartbreaking consequences of human ambition and choices.

If you’re drawn to stories that explore resilience, sacrifice, and the indomitable human spirit, See Morocco, See Spain by Ndidi Chiazor-Enenmor is a must-read. This powerful novel digs into the harrowing realities of migration, painting a vivid picture of the sacrifices people make in pursuit of their dreams, while ultimately posing questions about the actual cost of ambitions or desires.

In the words of the author, “See Morocco, See Spain presents a realistic account of the travails of many who undertake perilous journeys for a better life. It raises pertinent questions and also offers answers to the ever-evolving issues of migration and quest for greener pastures. The odds, the stakes, the risks, failures, and triumphs are all encapsulated in this work. I am happy that Purple Shelves is bringing this book to life. I can’t wait for the readers to delve into it.”

We, at Purple Shelves, are equally just as excited about this publication and cannot wait for you to take the trip from Benin City, through the Sahara Desert, to Europe, with Nosakhare, his best friend Osato, and all the other travellers they would meet and bond with on the journey. Beyond being a great addition to our shelves, publishing this work is our way of telling the story of the victims of human trafficking across Sub-Saharan Africa and the Mediterranean Sea.

About the Book

See Morocco, See Spain by Ndidi Chiaozr-Enenmor is a riveting tale of courage, sacrifice, and the unyielding pursuit of dreams. Nosakhare is a young man from Nigeria who dares to imagine a brighter future beyond the borders of his homeland. With hope as his anchor, he embarks on a harrowing journey through the scorching Sahara Desert, enduring deceitful agents, harsh terrains, and unthinkable hardships.

Along the way, he is joined by others, each driven by their aspirations and haunted by their pasts. Together, they face a reality far grimmer than the dreams that set them in motion. As borders tighten and stakes rise, Nosakhare must confront not only the dangers of the road but also the question of what it truly means to succeed.

Heartbreaking and inspiring, See Morocco, See Spain captures the human cost of migration, the resilience of the human spirit, and the complexities of hope in a world of borders and barriers.
