Alexander Emmanuel’s Edge of the Sun is coming this April
We’re super thrilled to announce that we’re set to release Alexander Emmanuel Ochogwu’s fifth novel, Edge of the Sun.

This coming-of-age novel is set in Bodo (a town in South Southern Nigeria), along the bank of the Obunda River, and follows the lives of Jaja and Sim, two juvenile and over-exuberant youths, and their search for redemption. Eventually, they learn that running from the past is often akin to trying to touch the Edge of the Sun.
Through this novel, Alexander Emmanuel Ochogwu affirms his place as a renowned wordsmith to watch out for.
Squadron Leader Alexander Emmanuel PhD is an accomplished Air Force officer, a strategist, an academic, a peace and security expert, a Chevening alumni, and the Winner of the 2018 USAID Hackathon on Counter Violent Extremism. His writing is inspired by his experiences in conflict zones, his passion for promoting peace and justice, and his deep understanding of the complexities of human nature and societal dynamics. Alexander has published four books, including Scarlet (Winner of the 2021 Book House People’s Choice Book of the Year), Omo, and The Diary of a Boy Soldier (all published by Purple Shelves ).




Edge of the Sun is his fifth book.
