When Kachi and her cousins visit their village for Christmas, they’re excited to explore the river they’ve heard so much about. But their adventure takes a serious turn when they discover that the river’s blackflies are spreading a disease that causes blindness. Determined to protect their village, the children form the “River Guards” and partner with an NGO to raise awareness. As they rally their community to fight river blindness, Kachi and her cousins realise they can make a lasting difference for their people.
