Hooray!
We received interesting entries last week and we’re glad to announce our very first winners.
Our overall winner is Theola Amiokhaibhor known by her alias, Theola Monday, a 300-level student of the Department of English and Literature in the University of Benin. Still as a newbie in the world of literature, she won the Chronicles Short Fiction Prize in 2019. Although the dream is to be the loudest literary voice of the 21st century and win fancy prizes, she is content with taking her world one short story at a time.

Our second winner and runner-up is Prudence Onaah, Prudence Onaah is a young Nigerian lawyer and writer. She graduated from the University of Jos, Nigeria and the Nigerian Law School. She divides her time between legal practice and writing. She has been featured on various platforms and has diversified interests in fiction and nonfiction writing.
